Yes Likes cats? unknown Good with kids?yes Reason for rehoming? 4 vet tech friends and I rescued a super sweet senior bulldog mix who stole our hearts since he was due to be put to sleep because of a venereal tumor that was hanging from his abdomen.  Gilbert is a really sweet dog. He came to us from the streets but he seems to be house or crate trained so it's pretty clear that he may have had a home  at some point in his life. He is mellow, dog friendly and knows some basic commands. We could not let him be euthanized because of his tumor, he has so much life in him.  We are treating his tumor. After saving Gilbert, we did a full work up and found out that he is also heartworm and microfilaria positive with a Grade 3 murmur. Gilbert is already an old man and we are treating him but we are in desperate need for a nice loving home for him to live the rest of his life in.  We estimate him to be around 10 years of age so the goal now would be to get rid of the tumor and make him comfortable.  Phone number where people can contact you if interested.
